***UPDATE***
A little bit ago I received a text message from Kari that the team just arrived in Garoua. It was getting too late to drive so they decided to wait a bit before leaving Chad. All is well, actually as she put it, "great!" and they were on their way to the church for the day.
Oh yes, she pointed out that it is HOT there too!!!
(I type this smiling as snowflakes are fluttering down outside my window.)
