European Visitor

My friend, Jessy, is here visiting! She was an exchange student in Fergus a couple of years ago, and part of my small group at church. We also ended up in a mentoring relationship, and had a lot of fun getting to know one another! Well, she decided to spend a little time in Minnesota this summer, and when she asked when we could get together and I told her I was, in fact, in California, she decided to come visit me here! What fun!

We're having a great time together, and have had full days doing all sorts of sightseeing. I thought I'd post a couple of fun shots that we've taken so far, and I'll fill you in on the rest of her visit later.

After she landed at the airport, we headed straight for Santa Monica and enjoyed some time at the beach.


The pier was full of color and people!


Today we went to Laguna Beach after church and lunch with Jim and Marilyn. We had a great time just relaxing and hanging out on the beach and doing a little shopping. Here was a view of sunset from the far side of the beach.
